SC/APC Fiber Optic Connector for FTTH Drop Cable Assembly
Description
SC/APC Fiber Optic Drop Connector manufactured by ANC International Co., Limited is used to be terminated on FTTH drop cable. This termination, like regular SC/APC fiber optic connectors, needs glue injection, fiber polishing, assembly, testing process before usage. This SC/APC drop fiber optic connector is designed for factory usage and is perfect suit for 2x3mm drop cable.
FTTH drop patch cord with factory pre-terminated SC/APC connector has better tensile force, vibration, stability such mechanical performance compared to on-site fast connector termination drop cable. It can be mated and unmated many times just like regular SC/APC patch cord with very few insertion loss changes. The disadvantage of this patch cord is that the length is fixed and can not be changed easily.
Our fiber optic drop connector series are now available in SC, LC, FC, ST variants, catering for both 2x3mm and 2x5mm flat drop cable. The fiber inside drop cable can be Single mode, Multi-mode 62.5/125um or Multi-mode 50/125um. The single-mode versions are available with UPC or APC ferrules.
Features
Singlemode Fiber SC Connector Epoxy-polish are specially designed to provide low insertion loss and back reflection, along with high precision and mechanical stability.
Our Male Fiber Optic Connectors have pre-polished zirconia ceramic ferrule with a slight spherical end-face. They also feature a screw-on collet that ensures precise connections in high vibration environments.
These fiber optic connectors comply with IEC 61754-13 and TIA 604-4-B, FOCIS-4 intermateability standards and conform to RoHS environmental requirements.
SC/APC simplex singlemode connectors are suitable for Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WAN), Metropolitan Area Networks (MAN) data center, business, premises, FTTH and commercial applications.
